Job summary

Stewart Title Guaranty Company provides nationwide title services and supports real estate transactions by searching public records and examining titles to determine the legal condition of property title as part of a production center, branch office, or member of a title team.

The role involves compiling, investigating and examining public and tax records to determine liabilities and insurability of primarily commercial or industrial property titles, and preparing title commitments following

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Familiarity with public records search and title examination processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compiles, investigates and examines public and tax records to determine liabilities and the legal condition of the title and insurability of primarily commercial or industrial property title.
• Prepares accurate and comprehensive title commitments in accordance with company examining and policy procedures.
• Follows standard procedures and guidelines.
• Understands how assigned duties relate to others within the team and how the team integrates with related teams.
• Impacts own team through the quality of the support provided.
• Recognizes and solves typical problems; selects solutions from established options.
• Communicates moderately complex information in routine situations, typically within own team.
• Works under general supervision with limited ability to modify approach; individual contributor having no supervisory responsibilities; manages own workload.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Pay Range & Benefits

$56,900.00 - $86,400.00 annually. Stewart offers eligible employees a competitive benefits package that includes a variety of health and wellness insurance options and programs, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase program, and employee discounts.
