Job summary

Sullivan Tire & Auto Service is seeking a Shop Service Technician to perform tire and tire-related services at our commercial service facility. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Candidate should have a high school diploma, TIA certification, ability to lift 125 lbs, and a valid DOT medical card; prior tire service experience is preferred. Join a team-focused, employee-owned company dedicated to safety and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; TIA certification required.
• Prior tire service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 125 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License with DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Works safely at all times per OSHA, TIA, and company policies.
• Mounts, demounts, balances, and repairs commercial tires and wheels as directed.
• Inspects tires, vehicles and equipment before/after service; notes additional services.
• Documents work performed accurately per company policy.
• Provides excellent customer satisfaction to build long-term relationships.
• Operates company vehicles safely and in compliance with laws.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized; reports repairs/maintenance needs.
• Performs wheel refurbishment, tire foam fill, casing receiving and related tasks.
• Performs other shop duties as assigned by Commercial Service Manager or Senior Technician.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
