Job summary

Continental, through BestDrive, is seeking a Commercial Sales Associate to lead sales for area fleets and promote tires, retreads and services. The role focuses on soliciting existing store accounts and developing new business with a strong emphasis on profitability and customer knowledge.

In this capacity you will travel regionally, manage relationships, and work toward meeting sales and gross profit targets while learning the company’s billing and service processes.

Qualifications

• Industrial sales experience preferred
• Ability to build a profitable book of business
• Able to solicit new accounts and maintain current ones

Responsibilities

• Solicit commercial truck tire accounts in designated areas
• Sell industrial tires, new tires, retreads and services
• Maintain current accounts with regular calls and follow-ups
• Learn and use the billing system for sales processes
• Maintain profit margins and meet sales/GP goals
• Develop knowledge of products and services to inform customers
• Prepare weekly sales plans and reports
