Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Commercial Strategy Pipeline Analyst to provide onsite support in Arlington, VA.

You will manage over 50 DARPA performer companies, conduct regular check-ins, and coordinate outreach to identify new opportunities while supporting program managers and cross‑agency collaboration. Required: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, active Secret clearance, and CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience supporting technology commercialization that resulted in products or services used in DoW or commercial markets; direct experience commercializing dual-use technologies.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Demonstrated project management and market creation activities including identification of commercialization pathways and go-to-market strategies.
• Experience with market research, technoeconomic and financial analysis, product development, and/or manufacturing and supply chain management.
• Proven ability to translate minimal meeting details into a comprehensive analysis or presentation; strong initiative and analytical thinking.
• Expertise in at least two of the DoW critical technology areas.
• Experience with innovation, research and development planning.
• Knowledge of startup culture and early-stage investments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of 50+ DARPA performer companies with regular check-ins.
• Coordinate outreach to identify opportunities and engage program managers.
• Maintain CRM data and deliver executive-level briefings.
• Collaborate with the DARPA Commercial Strategy Office and broader agency.
• Support commercialization pathways for transformational technologies.
• Advise PMs, SETAs, and performers on market analysis and go-to-market strategies.
• Brainstorm improvements to processes and workflows within the Commercial Strategy team.
