Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Commercial Manager to support the growth of their cloud software portfolio. The role involves conducting market research, optimizing pricing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in finance or business and proven experience in commercial analysis.
Job Summary
As Commercial Manager, software you will support the growth agenda of our cloud software portfolio. In this role, you will report to Associate Director, Software Products and support the key strategic initiatives centered on driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and optimizing commercial strategies for CCH iFirm and CCH Integrator, our market leading cloud software platforms.
Your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on a diverse customer base, ranging from Big 4 firms and blue-chip corporations to high-growth enterprises and small and mid- sized accounting firms.
Key Requirements:
Market & Business Strategy
Conduct detailed market research and analysis to determine market sizing for existing and adjacent segments and markets.
Assess new market opportunities, review commercial insights and recommend new growth pathways
Develop data-driven business cases to support strategic investments, expansion plans and go-to-market strategies.
In collaboration with the Associate Director and other stakeholders, evaluate potential M&A targets to accelerate the growth of the software portfolio.
Revenue & Pricing Optimization
Review and develop new pricing models that optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness.
Continuously monitor and analyze pricing performance, providing recommendations that may require changes to market trends and customer needs.
Work closely with the Associate Director to align revenue and pricing strategies with commercial targets and business objectives.
Commercial Performance & Reporting
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the software portfolio tracking the success of revenue growth, renewals, sales and pricing uplift against the agreed commercial targets.
Regularly track, analyze, and report on portfolio performance, market trends, and business outcomes.
Recommend actionable plans based on data analysis to refine and optimize the commercial strategy.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with the Associate Director and product managers to develop commercial models that support revenue growth through customer acquisition, account growth and retention.
Provide insights and recommendations on growth initiatives, portfolio optimization initiatives and investment priorities.
