Description

Coastal Mechanical, a business unit of Rogers Building Solutions and one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Southeast, is currently seeking experienced commercial Sheetmetal mechanics to work in the Orlando, Florida area on large commercial projects, including hospitals, schools, universities, and government facilities. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

1. 4-6 years of commercial sheet metal duct installation experience.
2. Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal equipment and HVAC ductwork.
3. Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
4. Follow safety procedures at all times.
5. Work independently on special projects.
6. Undergo background checks, motor vehicle checks, and drug screening.
7. Physical ability to perform tasks such as walking, standing, lifting, pulling, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Essential Functions:

• Climb ladders safely.
• Push, pull, and carry tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Maintain good vision and hearing, with or without correction, to ensure safety.
• Availability for overtime, weekends, and travel within Florida.
