Job summary

Stifel in Creve Coeur, MO seeks a Commercial Servicing Associate III to provide onboarding and servicing support for commercial loans. The role emphasizes accurate processing, collaboration with Loan Coordinators, and maintaining a high standard of client service.

You will work with Lending Teams to ensure smooth operations, handle payment processing, and assist with imaging and daily balancing. Mentoring junior staff may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Onboard commercial loans into loan systems for various lending verticals.
• Coordinate with Loan Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate daily loan closings.
• Process incoming payments with accuracy.
• Resolve discrepancies with Agent Banks.
• Process wire, conversion and rate change requests.
• Support Lending Teams to maintain positive client experience through excellent service.
• Communicate with clients to answer questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with imaging loan documents and daily activity.
• Daily balancing of work in process accounts.
• Mentor junior associates as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

The Commercial Servicing Associate III is responsible for providing sufficient support for Commercial loans through onboarding and servicing responsibilities. This position will be located in our 100% Creve Coeur, MO.

What We're Looking For

• Onboard commercial loans into loan systems for various types of lending verticals.
• Work closely with Loan Coordinators to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of daily loan closings.
• Process incoming payments while ensuring payment accuracy is met.
• Work with Agent Banks to resolve discrepancies.
• Process advance requests, including submission to the wire department.
• Process conversion and rate change requests.
• Work with Lending Teams to provide and maintain a positive client experience through excellent customer service.
• Communicate with clients to answer questions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with imaging loan documents and daily activity.
• Responsible for daily balancing of work in process accounts.
• May mentor junior-level associates as needed.

What You'll Bring

• Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.
• When learning or teaching new things, select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education & Experience

• Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Required: 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Licenses & Credentials

• Minimum Required: None.

Systems & Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
