Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. through its K & B Garage Doors division in Las Vegas, NV is hiring Commercial Door Technician Trainees to install and repair a range of commercial doors and dock equipment.

The role involves hands-on work, safety practices, and serving customers in the surrounding area. Qualified candidates may have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Repair and/or install a wide range of commercial doors and dock hardware.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Repair and/or install a wide range of commercial doors and dock hardware, including but not limited to rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors and dock levelers/equipment
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record
