What You’ll Need For The Job

• Diagnose HVAC equipment and systems that are not working and replace defective parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all types of HVAC equipment to verify proper operation and to identify potential problems.
• Act as a trusted adviser to recommend appropriate repairs and upgrades to customers.
• Discuss pricing, value, and advantages of recommended repairs and upgrades.
• Build strong customer relationships and understand new and existing customer needs and expectations.
• Perform related work as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of theory, methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the trade.
• 5 years of experience specific to the HVAC industry.
• Possession of your own basic hand tools.
• Ability to read, understand, and work from specifications and drawings.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, or stand, lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to work on‑call.
• Knowledge of the following HVAC systems:
  • Roof‑top unit
  • Cooling tower
  • Chillers
  • Heat pumps
  • Air conditioners
  • Hydronic systems
  • Geothermal units
  • Gas furnaces and gas boilers
