Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work as an Electrical Service / UPS installation systems Technician for M.C. Dean’s Service & National Accounts Group, which operates 24/7 - 365 to support our customers. This role involves electrical installations, servicing UPS systems, and resolving electrical issues professionally and safely. It requires regular travel across the United States.

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices according to plans and codes.
• Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining EMS systems, smart breakers, electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
• Inspecting sites and studying work orders, plans, and manuals to determine materials and procedures.
• Testing electrical systems and circuit continuity.
• Diagnosing malfunctions using test equipment and tools.
• Training and directing workers on installations and repairs.
• This position requires 60% travel across the US.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in electrical service, including UPS system installation.

Candidate Expectations

• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Comfortable using smart devices and web-based applications.
• Commitment to high-quality work, punctuality, and safety.
• Wear OSHA-approved clothing as specified.

Desired Qualifications

• Journeyman’s license or equivalent.
• Additional certifications like Lift and Aerial Training, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, UPS installation knowledge.
