Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work as an Electrical Service / UPS Installation Systems Technician for M.C. Dean's Service & National Accounts Group. This group operates 24/7, 365 days a year, supporting our customers and is known for providing The Ultimate Customer Experience. We offer world-class support and training, fostering a family-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction, quality, and safety.

This is a regional service position requiring regular travel across the United States. Responsibilities include electrical installations, UPS servicing, and resolving customer electrical issues professionally and safely. Candidates are expected to maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices according to blueprints and building plans.
• Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining EMS systems, smart breakers, electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
• Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and manuals to determine materials and procedures.
• Testing electrical systems and circuits for continuity using test devices.
• Diagnosing malfunctions using test equipment and tools, locating causes, and correcting problems.
• Training and directing workers in installing, maintaining, or repairing electrical systems.

This position requires approximately 60% travel across the United States at various locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of experience in the electrical service industry, including UPS system installation.

Candidate Expectations:

• Pass a background check and drug test.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Proficient in electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and web-based applications.
• Committed to high-quality work and safety standards.
• Dress in OSHA-approved clothing covering shoulders and appropriate pants.
• Punctuality and teamwork skills are essential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Journeyman's license or equivalent.
• Additional certifications (e.g., Lift and Aerial Training, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, UPS installation).
