CARE Property Services is seeking a dependable Commercial Service Technician to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on maintenance, repairs, and ensuring customer service excellence for commercial properties.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs, with strong troubleshooting and communication abilities. Must be able to work independently and safely follow building codes and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial maintenance or related trade preferred.
• Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general repairs.
• Able to use hand and power tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform general commercial property maintenance, service, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance issues at commercial properties.
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repair work
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to help keep properties safe and operational.
• Respond to service requests and complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify repair needs, recommend solutions, and report any major issues requiring additional attention.
• Install, repair, or replace fixtures, hardware, doors, locks, and other building components as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
• Communicate professionally with property managers, tenants, customers, and team members.
• Document completed work, materials used, and any additional repairs required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable building codes and regulations.
• Assist with special projects and other maintenance duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial maintenance, property services, facilities maintenance, or a related trade preferred.
• Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize service requests.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
• Must have Driver's License and pass a drug test.
• Ability to lift and carry tools and materials and safely perform physical work, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working indoors or outdoors.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company standards.

Must provide and maintain own standard hand tools and basic tools necessary to perform daily service and maintenance duties.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly pay starting at $20–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
