Job summary

Hillside Employment Services LLC seeks a Commercial Property Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, appearance, and operation of office, retail, and industrial properties. You will handle preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, landscaping, painting, and tenant service requests to keep environments safe and professional.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of maintenance experience, with knowledge across building systems and a strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of commercial property maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and general building systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent tenant service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, windows, and building systems.
• Respond to tenant work orders and maintenance requests.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections.
• Identify and address safety hazards and maintenance issues.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and minor carpentry repairs.
• Maintain landscaping, sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas.
• Assist with snow and ice removal and seasonal maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Participate in after-hours emergency response as needed.
• Perform other duties to maintain appearance, safety, and value of properties.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Property Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, appearance, and operation of office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, property inspections, landscaping, painting, tenant service requests, and other tasks necessary to maintain a safe, functional, and professional environment across our portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, windows, and general building systems.
• Respond to tenant work orders and maintenance requests.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections.
• Identify and address safety hazards and maintenance issues.

• Maintain landscaping, flower beds, sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas to keep properties clean, attractive, and well-maintained.
• Assist with snow and ice removal, seasonal property maintenance, and weather-related repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.
• Participate in after-hours emergency response as needed.
• Perform other duties necessary to maintain the overall appearance, safety, and value of the properties.
