Job Description
The Commercial Service Technician will be responsible for service calls involving alarm, camera, access control systems, and other life safety systems in new and existing buildings across various construction types. Proficiency in programming DSC NEO and Qolsys systems, along with knowledge of Alarm.com software, is required.
Travel and Compensation
The technician will travel 50%-75% of the time. A company vehicle and gas card will be provided. The pay rate is up to $30 per hour, depending on experience and ability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Working knowledge of security, surveillance, and access control software applications, including DSC, Qolsys, and Alarm.com, is essential.
Physical Demands
The role requires sitting, walking, using hands for handling and reaching, climbing ladders, working with tools on scaffolds or in confined spaces, and communicating verbally. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
