Job summary

Sunstall Inc. is seeking a Commercial Electrician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and install electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship while providing exceptional service. The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, strong NEC knowledge, safety adherence, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and standard industry practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in commercial facilities.
• Perform service calls, maintenance, and repairs on wiring, panels, lighting systems, controls, and power distribution equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specifications to identify issues and determine repair solutions.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC requirements and local/state codes.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential electrical issues before failures occur.
• Install and replace electrical panels, conduit, switches, receptacles, lighting fixtures, and other components.

KeyResponsibilities

• EnsureallelectricalworkcomplieswithNECrequirementsandapplicablelocalandstatecodes.

• Maintainaccurateservicerecords,workorders,anddocumentation.
• Maintaintools,equipment,andcompanyvehiclesingoodworkingcondition.
• Adheretoallcompanysafetypolicies,procedures,andindustrybestpractices.

Qualifications

• Minimumof3yearsofcommercialelectricalexperiencepreferred.
• Strongknowledgeofelectricaltheory,theNationalElectricalCode(NEC),andstandardindustrypractices.
• Experiencetroubleshootingandservicingcommercialelectricalsystems.
• Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicaldrawings,blueprints,andschematics.
• Excellentproblem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail.
• Strongcustomerserviceandcommunicationskills.
• Abilitytoworkindependentlyandmanagemultipleservicecallseffectively.
• Mustbeabletoliftupto50lbs,climbladders,andworkinvariousenvironments.
• Validdriver'slicenseandcleandrivingrecord.
• JourneymanElectricianlicensepreferredbutnotrequired.
