About This Role

The Commercial Service Account Manager will pursue opportunities for service agreements, quick turn projects, and large modernization projects to keep our customers operating effectively. This role is ideal for those skilled in relationship building, customer service, and working with cross-functional teams. It requires assessing both immediate and future customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (service agreements, repairs, modernizations)
  • Create and maintain sales territory and account plans
  • Present at customer seminars to develop relationships and opportunities
  • Promote Carrier's value proposition linking customer objectives to solutions
  • Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions and pipeline
  • Attract new customers and grow share with existing ones
  • Identify and pursue new service agreement opportunities
  • Respond to repair opportunities
  • Establish credibility with knowledge of Carrier products
  • Develop and sustain customer relationships
  • Articulate the value of Carrier’s offerings and how they meet customer needs
  • Detect customer buying stages and adjust selling strategies
  • Deliver effective presentations and communication
  • Prioritize opportunities and respond promptly
  • Achieve sales metrics and targets
  • Negotiate service agreement renewals
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience selling in the HVAC industry
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, work on roofs/platforms
  • Pass MVR background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Comfortable with Microsoft software in technical environments
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience selling directly to end users and service agreements
  • Ability to cross-sell and upsell within customer base
  • Team-oriented and dynamic environment adaptability
  • Proactive in selling preventative repairs/upgrades
  • Self-motivated with multi-project management skills
