Superior Communication Services in West Chicago, IL is seeking a skilled Access Control & Security Systems Integrator to install, test, and commission CCTV, access control, and related systems for commercial clients. You will work on structured cabling, IP networking, and door hardware in fast-paced environments.

Join a team that values craftsmanship and reliability; you will rough in and terminate cabling, wire pathways, configure network devices, and travel to national job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a systems integrator, service technician, or installer in security/low voltage.
• Ability to read blueprints and install CCTV, access control, and alarm devices.
• Knowledge of networking related to security systems and remote access.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission CCTV, access control, and door hardware in commercial environments.
• Terminate copper/ID cabling and fiber; test network runs.
• Install cable pathways and supports.
• Service and troubleshoot network cabling in commercial sites.
• Rack hardware installation: backboards, patch panels, switches.
• Install camera systems, readers, and control panels.
• Read blueprints and riser diagrams for layout guidance.
• Travel to national job sites as needed.
