Position Summary
The Commercial Sales Consultant is a sales representative that specializes in growing customer verticals within commercial intrusion, fire, access control, surveillance products, and services. This individual will work within an assigned territory to provide consultative, integrated solutions to potential and existing commercial customers.

Essential Duties

  1. Create new market share through prospecting and developing a new customer base.
  2. Strengthen existing customer partnerships within commercial accounts.
  3. Cultivate new leads through referrals, company-provided leads, networking groups, and cold calling.
  4. Efficiently manage territory resources to maximize daily production and customer relationships.
  5. Provide security consultations to customers including design, scope of work, theory of operation, and solution integration.
  6. Promote and cross-sell all Everon products and services.
  7. Collaborate with product and manufacturing representatives and operational counterparts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in security, telecom, or technology industries.
  • Proficient in system design applications, bidding tools, customer management, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Experience with integrated video surveillance, access control, and fire systems preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret applicable documents, materials, policies, procedures, etc., in English.

Pay and Benefits Disclosure

The salary range is $37,500 – $65,000, based on experience and qualifications. Certain roles may include annual bonuses and equity, awarded based on performance. We offer healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and paid time off. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year, with increased accrual after the first year. Paid holidays are also provided.
