The Opportunity

As a high-performing Sales Engineer on our Mid-Market team, you will collaborate with prospects and clients to develop enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions. This consultative role requires deep analytical skills, business process expertise, and the ability to craft insightful solutions using Cyera’s technology.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive revenue through large, complex sales opportunities that leverage Cyera’s capabilities and value proposition.
  2. Identify client business issues and desired outcomes, architecting solutions that utilize all of Cyera's products and services.
  3. Deliver, manage, and execute proof of values (PoVs) and Use Case Demos (UCDs) on customer sites, consulting with key stakeholders and driving sales through technical demonstrations.
  4. Coordinate internal resources via cross-functional communication to support sales and build a sustainable, repeatable business model.
  5. Serve as the technical contact for Cyera’s partner channel and represent Cyera at marketing events.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  1. Experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security roles such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect.
  2. Strong knowledge of one or more major cloud providers (AWS and/or Azure), including roles, permissions, and APIs.
  3. Understanding of data storage types, encryption, key management, cloud IAM, and network design.
  4. Fundamental knowledge of ML/AI, data regulatory frameworks, privacy, and data retention.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  6. Experience with SFDC and opportunity tracking.
  7. Results-oriented with a desire to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in addressing customer challenges.

Preferred Certifications (higher levels preferred):

  1. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals
  2. AWS Solution Architect (Associate or Professional)
  3. Azure Security Engineer Associate
  4. Azure Solutions Architect
  5. CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and equity package. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and role specifics. Merit increases may be available based on performance and other factors.
