We're looking for a Commercial Sales Engineer to join our Americas Field Sales team as an individual contributor. This is a remote position located in IL,KS,MO,IN,OH,MI,TN,KY in the Central time zone, however, occasional travel to customer sites and internal events may be required. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for:



  • Creating and delivering technical product presentations to prospective customers

  • Gathering customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs.

  • Leading product evaluations and custom product configurations

  • Designing evaluation test plans with customers and guiding the process to successful outcomes


What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent working experience

  • 2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems integrator


What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Prior experience with small to medium sized business accounts, or enterprise accounts in the networking or cyber security space

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting routing and switching products

  • Demonstrated a proactive learning orientation and thrives in adapting to new challenges

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.


The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$10,500$150,000 USD
