Tiello LLC is hiring a Commercial Roofing Service Technician Assistant in Phoenix, AZ. You will join a team supporting inspections, repairs, and maintenance on commercial low-slope roofing systems.

Expect outdoor, physically demanding work with frequent travel and opportunities to grow a long-term career in roofing. The role partners with Lead Technicians to deliver quality service, while following safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general labor, construction, maintenance, or roofing experience.
• Roofing or commercial construction experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction or roofing tools and equipment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Technicians with roof inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Support service work on commercial low-slope roofing systems.
• Load/unload tools, materials, and equipment for each job.
• Prepare materials and tools needed for daily service work.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Assist with maintaining and organizing service trucks.
• Restock truck inventory and report damaged or missing tools.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Complete projects efficiently and to quality standards.

Position: Commercial Roofing Service Technician Assistant

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Compensation: $18-$24/hour, depending on experience

Travel: 75% Nationwide Travel

Tiello has partnered with a leading commercial roofing contractor that is expanding its service operations and looking to add a Commercial Roofing Service Technician Assistant to its team in Phoenix, AZ.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general labor, construction, or roofing experience who wants to build a long-term career in commercial roofing. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, coachable, and comfortable working outdoors, traveling to different job sites, and performing physically demanding work.

The Commercial Roofing Service Technician Assistant will work alongside Lead Service Technicians to support inspections, repairs, maintenance, and service projects on commercial low-slope roofing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Technicians with commercial roof inspections, repairs, and maintenance
• Support service work on commercial low-slope roofing systems
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment before and after each job
• Prepare materials and tools needed for daily service work
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
• Assist with maintaining and organizing company service trucks
• Restock truck inventory and report damaged or missing tools and equipment
• Assist with ladders, power tools, mobile devices, and other company equipment
• Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, cutting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and moving materials
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Support Lead Technicians in completing projects efficiently and according to quality standards
• Follow company procedures for quality control, reporting, and job documentation
• Communicate effectively with Lead Technicians and other members of the service team
• Assist with emergency service work and other projects as needed
• Take direction and continuously develop commercial roofing knowledge and skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of general labor, construction, maintenance, or roofing experience
• Roofing or commercial construction experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of construction or roofing tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and dependable with a professional attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments
• Valid driver`s license with an insurable driving record
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% nationwide

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous commercial roofing experience
• Low-slope roofing manufacturer certifications
• OSHA 10 certification
• Boom lift, telehandler, or forklift certification
• Experience with Centerpoint Connect, FCS Roofing Software, or similar platforms
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
