Job summary

Jobot in Fountain Valley, CA seeks a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to diagnose leaks, perform repairs, and provide preventative maintenance on commercial systems. This hands-on role offers year-round work with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

2+ years of commercial roofing experience preferred.
Previous commercial roofing service/repair experience strongly preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and locate roof leaks.
Knowledge of common low-slope commercial roofing systems.
Comfortable working at heights and using ladders, lifts, and fall-protection equipment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose roof leaks and identify the source of water intrusion.
Perform commercial roof repairs and preventative maintenance.
Complete service calls and emergency repairs.
Inspect existing roofing systems and document deficiencies.
Repair flashing, penetrations, seams, drains, curbs, and other roof components.
Perform minor re-roof and restoration work as required.
Document completed work with photos and service reports.
Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and internal service teams.
Maintain company tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles.
Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures.
Work independently or alongside other technicians depending on project requirements.
