Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing seeks a Superintendent to lead and supervise commercial roofing crews and subcontractors on active projects. You will implement safety practices, read field manuals, and participate in project meetings, ensuring projects meet schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of roofing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

• 5+ years of Commercial Roofing experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints / shop drawings.
• Ability to multitask on various tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to travel to and manage multiple job sites.
• Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Job Functions

• Read and understand project field manuals of various roofing systems and manufacturers.


• Ensures company safety procedures are implemented and followed.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Requirements)

• 5+ years of Commercial Roofing experience.


• Experience with various Commercial Roofing systems (i.e.- single -ply, torch, hot rubberized asphalt, metal, coatings, etc).


• Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills.


• Ability to read and understand blueprints / shop drawings.


• Ability to multitask on various tasks in a fast paced environment.


• Ability to travel to and manage multiple job sites.


• Computer literate in Outlook and Excel preferred.


• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Working Conditions

Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, both hot and cold and in windy conditions.
