Job summary

Empire Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is hiring a Sheet Metal Worker to join our team for commercial roofing projects. The role focuses on fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal components such as flashing, coping, gutters, and edge metal.

We offer year-round work and opportunities for career growth. Pay starts at $20+ per hour, BOE, with benefits as part of the company package. English/Spanish-speaking candidates are welcomed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sheet metal, roofing, or construction experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components for commercial roofing projects.
• Install flashing, coping, edge metal, gutters, downspouts, and related roofing sheet metal.
• Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and project specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work safely and productively as part of a commercial roofing team.
• Perform work according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Safely work at heights and climb ladders.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Sheet Metal Worker Summary

The Sheet Metal Worker will fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components for commercial roofing projects. This includes flashing, coping, edge metal, gutters, downspouts, and other custom sheet metal applications.
