Job summary

Empire Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is looking for a Sheet Metal Worker to fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components for commercial roofing projects. The role involves reading drawings, measuring, and working safely on outdoor sites.

Pay starts at $18+ per hour, BoE; valid driver's license and ability to lift 50+ pounds are required. Stay active with year-round work and opportunities for career growth within the Tecta America network.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of sheet metal, roofing, or construction experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ and able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Valid driver\'s license and pass background/drug screens.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components for commercial roofing projects.
• Install flashing, coping, edge metal, gutters, downspouts, and related roofing sheet metal.
• Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and project specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work safely and productively as part of a commercial roofing team.
• Perform work according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Safely work at heights and climb ladders.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Sheet Metal Worker Summary

The Sheet Metal Worker will fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components for commercial roofing projects. This includes flashing, coping, edge metal, gutters, downspouts, and other custom sheet metal applications.
