JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company is currently searching for a Commercial Roofing Tech I at our Akron, OH location. You will be the service crew’s leader and responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in various commercial roofing systems including EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work according to job specifications and safety guidelines
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers
• Manage commercial roofing crew, including completing required paperwork, attending meetings, and assisting in training crew members

Core Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews
• A valid driver’s license
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Ability to work at varying heights and in different weather conditions
• Good communication skills with clients, supervisors, and co-workers
• Initiative, integrity, and adaptability
• Technologically savvy
