Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing in Williston, VT is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician. You will investigate leaks, locate and repair defects in EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal, and manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish with a focus on craftsmanship.

Position starts at $20+/hr BOE. Must be 18+, with 2+ years leading roofing crews, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and ability to work at heights in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ Years experience leading commercial roofing crews
• A valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
• Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.
• Technology savvy.

Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all types of roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles)
• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary:

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds
