Job summary

Tecta America Southern California is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician in Santa Ana. You will investigate, locate, and repair leaks across EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, and metal systems, managing projects from start to finish with craftsmanship at the forefront.

We offer opportunity for growth, pay starting at $22+ per hour, and a supportive team that speaks both English and Spanish. Applicants must have 2+ years of leadership experience and valid DL with a clean record.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work at varying heights.

Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope roofs.
• Roof maintenance and repairs.
• Perform work per job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers.
• Complete required paperwork and assist in training crew members.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary

You will be responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all types of roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles)
• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 2+ Years experience leading commercial roofing crews
• A valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
• Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.
• Technology savvy.

Working Conditions

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds
• Travel: Local, up to 1 hour away
