Job summary

Tecta America Fruitland is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Technician in Fruitland, MD to inspect, locate and repair leaks across EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen and metal roof systems. You will work under the service crew leader, performing quality repairs and communicating with customers on site.

The role requires leadership experience, a valid license, physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights in various weather conditions. Local travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Must be able to work at varying heights and in diverse weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
• Initiative, integrity and adaptability.
• Technology savvy.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install all types of commercial roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope metal).
• Perform roof maintenance and repairs.
• Follow job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Manage commercial roofing crew, complete paperwork, attend meetings, and assist in training crew members.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary

You will be working under the service crew leader and investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all types of commercial roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope metal roof systems
• Roof maintenance and repairs
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed
