This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established service operation while helping expand its capabilities and client base.
What You’ll Do

- Qualify customer requests and create, manage, and track work orders through the company’s CRM and service-management systems.
- Prepare and review repair estimates, roof surveys, preventive maintenance reports, drawings, scopes of work, proposals, and other customer deliverables.
- Manage service pricing, inventory-related price lists, invoicing, collections support, payroll verification, bid logs, profitability reports, and other operating metrics.
- Schedule and dispatch service crews based on customer priorities, technician capabilities, geography, and workload.
- Monitor field performance through jobsite visits and job-ticket reviews to verify workmanship, productivity, documentation, safety, and customer service.
- Hire, train, coach, and manage service office and field personnel, including reviewing technician productivity and providing technical roofing training.
- Ensure compliance with company safety requirements, including required meetings, certifications, documentation, equipment inspections, and employee training.
- Oversee service vehicles, tools, equipment, and material purchasing to support safe and efficient field operations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while developing new business, referrals, and opportunities with existing customers.
- Promote additional services, including preventive maintenance programs, emergency response services, roof repairs, surveys, and construction-to-service transitions.
- Manage the preparation, review, and administration of proposals, contracts, purchase orders, and other construction-related documents.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, permitting resources, and internal teams to keep projects and service work progressing.
- Maintain accurate project, customer, and service records within departmental tracking and management systems.
What You’ll Bring
- At least five years of commercial roofing experience, including service operations, estimating, project oversight, or department management.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial roofing systems, repair methods, roof evaluations, preventive maintenance, and service-industry standards.
- Experience managing service technicians, office personnel, scheduling, dispatch, customer relationships, and field performance.
