Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing in Deer Park, NY is seeking a Service Lead Technician to investigate, locate and repair leaks and defects across EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR and metal systems. You will manage roofing projects end-to-end, ensuring top craftsmanship and safety.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience with commercial roofs, the ability to lift 50 pounds, strong communication with clients and crew, and a proactive, safety-focused mindset. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 5+ years experience working on commercial roofing systems.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
• Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.
• Technology savvy.

Responsibilities

• Roof maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Manage commercial roofing systems, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed.
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Removal and installation of all types of roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tiles/shingles).

You will be responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
