Job summary

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC seeks a Commercial Roofing Service Technician in Miami Gardens to diagnose and repair commercial roofing systems, perform maintenance, and deliver exceptional service. This role requires safety-minded individuals who can work at heights, communicate with customers and managers, and travel to job sites as needed.

Training is available for motivated candidates; prior roofing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair roof leaks on commercial systems.
• Perform service repairs and maintenance on EPDM, TPO, PVC, BUR, and Metal Roofing systems.
• Conduct roof inspections and identify repair needs.
• Complete service documentation using company-provided tools.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal team.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies; travel to sites as required.
• Deliver quality workmanship and customer service on every project.

Position Summary

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC is seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for diagnosing roofing issues, repairing commercial roofing systems, performing preventative maintenance, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and workmanship. Commercial roofing experience is preferred; however, training is available for motivated individuals looking to build a long-term career in the roofing industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair roof leaks on commercial roofing systems.
• Perform service repairs and maintenance on EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up Roofing (BUR), and Metal Roofing systems.
• Conduct roof inspections and identify repair or maintenance needs.
• Complete service documentation accurately using company-provided technology.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and internal team members.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional manner.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and customer safety requirements.
• Travel to customer locations and job sites as required.
• Deliver quality workmanship and exceptional customer service on every project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing roof leaks.
• Experience working with EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and Metal Roofing systems.
• Previous service, repair, or maintenance experience within the commercial roofing industry.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and safely access rooftops.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle roofing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, and work on roof surfaces for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety requirements.
