• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, coatings, metal).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial roofing projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and costs.
• Coordinate with customers, general contractors, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Monitor progress to meet timelines, budgets, safety, and quality standards.
• Oversee material ordering, deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, documentation, and scope changes.
• Conduct jobsite visits and communicate with field leadership.
• Identify challenges and develop proactive solutions.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, and contracts.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout projects.
• Assist with closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final docs.

Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Base Salary: $100,000–$125,000 + Benefits

Position Overview

A well-established commercial roofing contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join its growing Phoenix team.

This position will be responsible for managing multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and experience managing projects from initial handoff through final completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial roofing projects from start to finish.


• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, job costs, and project documentation.


• Coordinate with customers, general contractors, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.


• Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, budgets, safety requirements, and quality standards are being met.


• Oversee material ordering, deliveries, equipment needs, and subcontractor coordination.


• Manage change orders, RFIs, project documentation, and scope changes.


• Conduct jobsite visits and maintain regular communication with field leadership.


• Identify potential project challenges and proactively develop solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial roofing preferred.


• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal roofing.


• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Strong understanding of commercial construction scheduling, budgeting, and job costing.


• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.


• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Comfortable working directly with customers, contractors, field crews, and vendors.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.


• Valid driver's license.


• Ability to travel locally to jobsites as needed.
