Job summary

Tecta America Zero Company LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial roofing projects in the Dayton, Columbus, or Cincinnati OH area. The role covers submittals, warranty administration, and coordination of work orders and closeout packages to ensure on-time, compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing submittals, RFIs, and owner manuals, as well as maintaining documentation in Navision.

Qualifications

Experience in commercial construction or commercial roofing.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Experience preparing construction submittals and project documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Navision (Navision) or similar ERP software.
Experience with CAD software and electronic plan takeoffs preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare project submittals and maintain status tracking.
Warranty administration including preparing warranty applications and tracking status.
Create and manage work orders and project packets in Navision.
Coordinate project closeout documentation and distribution to Owner/GC.
Perform material takeoffs and issue purchase orders for roofing materials and related items.
Provide administrative and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate scheduling and communication among field personnel, vendors, and customers.
