Nations Roof is seeking a Lead Service Technician in Lafayette, LA to head a two-person service crew. You will troubleshoot leaks, guide repairs, and ensure customers receive reliable, lasting results on commercial roofs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of commercial roofing experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong leak investigation and roof repair skills.
• Experience leading a helper, technician, or small crew.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• The ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Comfort using a smartphone and mobile apps for job documentation.
• Willingness to obtain required OSHA certifications.
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead your two‑person service team, organize the day’s work, and help your technician build their skills.
• Track down leaks and repair commercial roofing systems, including membranes, flashings, penetrations, curbs, and walls.
• Complete tear-offs, insulation installation, membrane welding, flashing installation, and related roofing work.
• Talk with customers about roof conditions, explain completed repairs, and provide updates.
• Identify additional repair needs and prepare recommendations or proposals.
• Use company apps to capture photos, document repairs, and complete service reports and timesheets.
• Keep your service van, tools, and materials organized and ready for the next job.
• Follow company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and manufacturer specifications.

As a Lead Service Technician, you’ll work alongside your assigned technician to troubleshoot leaks, complete repairs, and help customers get more life out of their roofs. This is a hands‑on field role for someone who takes pride in their work, looks out for their teammate, and keeps the customer informed.
