Job summary

Tecta America New England is seeking a Commercial Roofing Lead Service Technician in Portland, ME to install, maintain, and repair EPDM, TPO and PVC roofing systems. Under the crew Foreman, you will lead on-site activities, emphasize safety, and deliver high-quality workmanship.

We offer pay starting at $28+ per hour (BOE), full-time year-round work, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus with great benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience preferred; we will train the right individuals.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly, 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Outdoor work in varying weather and terrain.
• Follow instructions and work safely to standard specifications.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair commercial roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC).
• Lead on-site crews under the Foreman and ensure safety and quality.
• Adhere to job specifications and safety guidelines at all times.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Travel locally to jobsites as needed.

Lead Service Technician Pay starting at $28+/hr. BOE

Experienced Pay starting at $25+/hr. BOE

SIGN-ON BONUS!!! Up to $1500!!!

This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, skills, training and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits and other forms of compensation.

Commercial Roofing Lead Service Tech Summary:

Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO & PVC.

Commercial Roofing Lead Service Tech Requirements:

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals!
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders all expected activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions:

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc.
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour
