Job summary

JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company in Akron, OH is seeking Commercial Roofing Laborers. Starting pay is 24+ per hour, BOE. Responsibilities include installing and repairing roofs with BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope systems.

Candidates should be able to work in a team, endure outdoor conditions, and lift 50+ lbs; ladder climbs up to 60 ft. Requirements include 1 year of commercial roofing experience, 18+, valid driver's license, ability to pass background check and drug screen,

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial roofing experience.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to pass pre employment background check and drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs with commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).
• Able to work well in a team setting.
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof.
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety.

Roofing Laborer Summary

Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles).

• Able to work well in a team setting


• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions

Roofing Laborer Requirements
