Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our Tulsa team. This hands‑on leadership role oversees daily field operations, manages roofing crews, and ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with commercial low‑slope systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR), sheet metal, standing seam, and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Superintendent.
• Extensive knowledge of low-slope roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR).
• Experience with sheet metal, standing seam, wall panel systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise roofing crews daily.
• Coordinate field operations to maintain schedule and quality.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to execute plans and resolve issues.
• Read blueprints and project documents.
• Ensure safety per OSHA and policies.
• Inspect sites and maintain quality control.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and manpower.

Compensation: 35-40/hr + OT

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our growing Tulsa team. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily field operations, managing roofing crews, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial low‑slope roofing systems, sheet metal installations, and leading production crews on commercial roofing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise commercial roofing crews on a daily basis.
• Coordinate field operations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within quality standards.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to execute project plans and resolve field issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and maintain quality control throughout each project.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors, and manpower as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with project management, customers, and field personnel.
• Complete daily reports and documentation as required.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to theProject Manager and is responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership, productivity, and performance of field crews.
