Job summary

CentiMark Corporation, the national leader in the commercial/industrial roofing industry, is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator to support our sales and operations team in Billings, MT. The role pays $60k-$70k with bonus opportunity and premier benefits!

Responsibilities include performing project take-offs from drawings, preparing submittals, traveling to client sites to inspect roofs, communicating with customers, and estimating material and labor to re-roof.

Qualifications

• Commercial estimation knowledge/experience required.
• Understanding of new construction and specification driven bidding processes a plus.
• Ability to read/interpret architectural drawings and perform project take-offs.
• Ability to compile and prepare project submittals.
• Ability to track project change orders.
• Able to complete project closeout documentation as required.
• Computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Bid Estimating Software).
• A valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Able to climb ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet.
• Experience with THERMOPLASTIC, BUR, METAL, SHINGLES, EPDM, SPF FOAM and COATINGS.

Responsibilities

• Perform project take-offs from Architect/Construction Drawings.
• Prepare project submittals for specified contract projects.
• Travel to customer locations and inspect roofs and perform take-offs.
• Communicate with customers and inspect roofs for problem areas.
• Measure roofs and estimate material and labor needed to re-roof.
• Provide accurate information to sales for proposals.
• Prepare estimates and quotations through a proprietary system.
• Conduct regular site visits to support operations and enhance communication.
• Review projects and prepare progress reports.
• Travel out of town occasionally.
• Market to new prospects in the area.
