Job summary

D. C. Taylor Co. is hiring a Commercial Roofer for Peoria, AZ to handle tear-off, installation, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, and EPDM. You will work with the crew to complete projects safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to travel up to 5 weeks, and basic computer literacy. A GED and strong reading/writing skills are essential for daily communication and safety compliance.

Position Summary

As a commercial roofer, your primary goal is being involved in all aspects of the roofing trade, from tear-off to repair and maintenance. Primary roofing systems installed include TPO, PVC, and EPDM. Your role includes:

• Teamwork: Working with crew members to remove and install commercial roofing systems in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure projects are completed according to D. C. Taylor Co. policy under the direction of your supervisor.
• Safety: Inspect safety equipment daily and ensure all company equipment is in safe working conditions. Follow all safety procedures and policies established by D. C. Taylor Co. at all times.
• Operations: Assist with good housekeeping practice on the roof and staging roof areas with equipment and required materials. Participate in weekly meetings to discuss job site safety, project progress, and

Working Conditions

• This is a Safety Sensitive position that requires pre-employment and occasional customer required urinalysis drug screens and a pre-employment “fit test” physical.
• Ability to consistently travel up to 5 weeks at a time.
• Ability to work in various outside weather conditions, including extreme hot and cold weather.
• Ability to climb up and down access points to commercial/industrial roofs at varying heights.
