Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing is seeking a Roofer in Birmingham, Alabama to safely install and repair roofs and related materials on various systems. The role requires reading drawings and following PPE rules on site to ensure safe, high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have one or more years of roofing experience and a high school diploma, with duties including laying material for PVC, TPO, EPDM, MOD BIT, BUR, and asphalt under supervision and as part of a crew.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read drawings, sketches, and diagrams as required.
• Able to apply trade knowledge procedures and practices as required.
• Must be skilled in the safe and economical use of the full range of tools, equipment, and materials needed for the accomplishment of the assigned work.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of roofing experience.

Responsibilities

• Observes all safety rules, including proper usage of PPE.
• Lays roofing material to repair, maintain, and install roofs and accessories.

Job Functions

• Lays roofing material to repair, maintain, and install roofs and accessories.
