Franklin Water Treatment in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking an Assembler for light assembly of water treatment equipment. This role involves safe forklift operation and working across stations to meet production schedules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in a manufacturing setting, and forklift certification with relevant experience. Health and retirement benefits accompany this position.

What you will be doing:

Light Assembly - Assemble water treatment equipment and kits according to detailed instructions, safely operate a forklift, and work across various workstations to meet production schedules. You’ll also identify and report quality, equipment, process, or material concerns while following Franklin Electric quality and safety standards.

What you need:

• Punctual/dependable with great attendance
• Basic experience with light electrical and/or mechanical work (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• 1 - 2 years or more experience working in a manufacturing-type position (preferred)
• Forklift Certification with 1-3 years or more of forklift experience (preferred)

Physical demands for the job:

This role requires you to continually lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. continually stand, regularly required to walk. occasionally required to sit; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps, turn wrenches, valves, or handles; bend or twist; use upper extremities/ reach above shoulders.
