Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited STEM program.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in space systems design, development, or operation, space operations, regulatory operations, or related fields.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (US citizenship required).
• Willing to travel ~10% of the time, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to CRSRA for licensing and compliance analyses.
• Evaluate technical collection capabilities, system architecture, and operational activities of remote sensing space systems.
• Ensure compliance with Federal law and NOAA licenses through technical reviews and inquiries.
• Coordinate with subject-matter experts to deliver technical consultations to CRSRA staff.
• Prepare comprehensive reports documenting specifications, capabilities, recommendations, and research for CRSRA staff.
