Job summary

Banner Bank is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager II to support local businesses with financial guidance and a strong portfolio of commercial relationships. This role emphasizes relationship management, credit analysis, and collaboration with loan support staff.

The ideal candidate has a relevant bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in commercial credit or business development, with agricultural lending experience preferred. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or related field is required.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial credit, analysis, or business development is required.
• Agricultural lending experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing commercial relationships.
• Actively market a broad range of bank services to meet needs of business owners.
• Negotiate loan terms and conditions within scope of authority.
• Prepare and present credit analysis and recommendations on borrowing requests.
• Conduct credit reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Perform ongoing credit risk management through daily monitoring of the loan portfolio.
• Monitor all credits through periodic reviews and analysis.
• Create awareness of the Bank and its services through community activity.
• Assist loan support staff.
• Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.

• Perform ongoing credit risk management through daily monitoring of the loan portfolio; ensure proper risk rating of portfolio at all times.
• Monitor all credits through periodic reviews and analysis.
• Responsible for creating awareness of the Bank and its services through community activity.
• Responsible for assisting loan support staff.
• Responsible for complying with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.

What we're looking for

You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required). You have 4 or more years of experience in commercial credit, analysis, or business development (Required). Agricultural lending experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $101,956 - $119,948Annual incentive potential
