Associated Bank is seeking an experienced Middle Market Banker in Dallas to build and grow a commercial portfolio from the ground up. You will identify opportunities, structure credit solutions, and collaborate across the bank to deliver tailored financial services.

With 8+ years in commercial banking or business development, you will drive growth, manage risk, and expand client relationships while leveraging the bank's resources and platform to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of commercial banking or B2B business development experience.
• Proven track record of portfolio growth, client management, and credit analysis.
• Strong knowledge of commercial products and non-credit solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a Middle Market Commercial portfolio through proactive prospecting and client retention.
• Drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth with disciplined calling plans.
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver holistic Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Private Banking, and Wealth solutions.
• Analyze client financials and structure credit solutions aligned with risk and policy.
• Manage portfolio risk and ensure compliance with credit policy and regulatory standards.
• Present credit recommendations and participate in loan approvals with Portfolio Management.
• Engage in community and business organizations to build brand presence and referrals.

Associated Bank is expanding into new markets and seeking experienced, entrepreneurial middle market bankers to build and grow a commercial portfolio from the ground up. This role offers the opportunity to shape market presence, deepen client relationships, and drive meaningful growth. You’ll partner across the bank to deliver tailored financial solutions and expand market share.

What You’ll Do

• Build and grow a Middle Market Commercial portfolio through proactive prospecting, COI development, and client retention strategies.
• Drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth by identifying opportunities and executing disciplined calling plans.
• Partner cross-functionally to deliver holistic solutions across Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Private Banking, and Wealth.
• Analyze client financials and structure credit solutions aligned with risk and policy guidelines.
• Manage portfolio risk and ensure compliance with credit policy, regulatory standards, and business strategy.
• Present credit recommendations and participate in loan approval processes in partnership with Portfolio Management.
• Engage in community and business organizations to build brand presence and generate referral networks.

Required

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of commercial banking or B2B business development experience
• Proven track record of portfolio growth, client management, and credit analysis
• Strong knowledge of commercial products and non-credit solutions
