Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a field service technician in Connecticut to service commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and warewashing systems. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a range of equipment while maintaining safe work practices and accurate service documentation.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of technical experience in related fields. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and be on-call are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to participate in emergency on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to service commercial kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment.
• Read diagrams and schematics; liaise with manufacturers for parts when needed.
• Install parts ordered for customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain accurate work orders, time reporting, and truck stock inventory.
• Follow safe work practices and keep the service vehicle organized.
• Promote and upsell other Smart Care services when appropriate.
