You will troubleshoot and repair RTUs, chillers, and walk-in boxes, read schematics, and maintain service records while adhering to safety protocols.

This contract-to-hire role requires EPA Universal certification and 3+ years in a food production setting.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification required.
• 3+ years repairing commercial refrigeration systems.
• Experience with RTUs, chillers, condensers, evaporators.
• Able to read manuals, schematics, diagrams.
• Food production/kitchen environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, condensers, evaporators, and walk-in boxes.
• Diagnose and repair issues with compressors, motors, belts, and pulleys.
• Respond to refrigeration breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintain accurate records of service, parts usage, and equipment status.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on site.
• Partner with the broader facilities/maintenance team on cross-functional repairs as needed.
