Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our HVAC service team in the Springfield, MA area.

You will diagnose, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, service compressors and related components, perform preventative maintenance and handle on-site installations, startups, and on-call support. EPA certification and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Supermarket or convenience-store refrigeration experience preferred.
• Experience with single systems, rack systems, display cases and walk-in boxes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Service compressors, pumps, air handlers, condensers, ice machines, furnaces, motors, and controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems.
• Complete installations, startups, minor construction, and remodeling projects.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and provide emergency/on-call support.
