You’ll work independently in the field and collaborate closely with installation crews, controls technicians, and project managers to deliver a clean, on-time turnover.You’ll be hands-on with **rack systems, walk-ins, reach-ins,**and associated c**ontrol systems for commercial refrigeration installations.**### Location and Travel* Primary location: **Orlando, FL** (Central Florida)* Regional travel to job sites### Schedule* **40–50+ hours** per week* Some night work and on-call responsibilities required### Compensation* **$28–35 per hour**, based on experience### Responsibilities* Power up and commission new commercial refrigeration systems* Program setpoints and verify functionality for control systems (e.g., Emerson, CPC, Danfoss)* Perform pressure and leak tests, electrical checks, and refrigerant charge adjustments* Troubleshoot and resolve start-up issues across electrical, piping, and mechanical components* Verify systems meet manufacturer specifications and project requirements prior to turnover* Document start-up conditions, commissioning data, and punch-list items* Collaborate with installation crews, controls technicians, and project managers* Facilitate a smooth transition to service and maintenance teams### Requirements* 2+ years of commercial refrigeration installation, service, or start-up experience* Strong knowledge of rack refrigeration, condensers, evaporators, and controls* Ability to troubleshoot and tune superheat, subcooling, airflow, and refrigerant charge* Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams* EPA 608 Certification (required)* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record* Willingness to travel regionally to job sites (per diem provided)
