Job summary
A leading refrigeration services provider in Phoenix is seeking an experienced refrigeration technician. This role requires expertise in supermarket EMS systems, along with responsibilities including start-ups of new refrigeration systems and leading small projects. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration, substantial knowledge of EMS systems, and strong problem-solving skills. A competitive hourly rate of $40-52 is offered based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with supermarket EMS systems.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration.
- Experience with parallel rack systems is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead small projects such as single case changeouts.
- Perform evacuations of parallel racks and verify pressure tests.
- Assist with retro-commissioning projects for systems performance.
Skills
Expert knowledge of refrigeration
Good communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to efficiently troubleshoot
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft applications
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Education
High school diploma or GED
Coursework at an accredited vocational-technical or trade school
EMS Certification preferred
Tools
EPA Certification I and II
Valid Driver’s License
